What is it?

An iron infusion is a fast, highly effective intravenous (IV) iron therapy. It rapidly replenishes your body’s iron stores directly through the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system to avoid the stomach upset common with oral supplements.

What is it Good For?

Iron infusions are primarily used to treat Iron Deficiency Anemia.

It helps to:

  • Rapidly restore energy and eliminate chronic fatigue.

  • Improve focus and clear "brain fog."

  • Relieve symptoms of Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS).

  • Improve the health of thinning hair and brittle nails.

our First Visit & Medical Clearance

Your safety is our priority. Before starting therapy, our medical providers will conduct a brief consultation to review your medical history, check your current medications, and provide medical clearance to ensure the iron infusion is safe and appropriate for you.

Required In-Office Labs

For your convenience, we draw all necessary diagnostic labs right here in our office during your first visit to determine your specific treatment plan.

Approximately 34% of women between the ages of 18 and 50 are iron deficient.

The number is even higher in the younger demographic - nearly 40% of females aged 12-21 have iron deficiency.

45% of women are completely unfamiliar with the condition: iron deficiency anemia.

Why Does It Go Unnoticed?

There are a few main reasons why so many women walk around with depleted iron levels without knowing it: Inadequate Routine Screening: During a standard physical, most doctors order a Complete Blood Count (CBC) to check hemoglobin. However, a CBC only detects anemia (a late stage of iron deficiency). It does not check Ferritin, which is the protein that stores iron. A woman's Ferritin levels can be completely depleted—causing severe symptoms—long before her hemoglobin drops low enough to trigger an anemia diagnosis on a CBC.
